ResMed S9 AutoSet data in limbo
Hi all, I'm having a problem with the data being corrupt on my SD chip. I have good data in SleepyHead, but I can't seem to find a way to load it back to the SD. The data looks OK in the exported CSV file. Is there a way to move it back to the chip? I also have ResScan but all it can read is the bad data on the chip. Thanks for any and all help. Jim

Jim, Why do you want to move the data back onto the SD card? On the other hand, why did you delete it off the card to start with? Unless something has changed recently, loading the data into SleepyHead or ResScan does not remove the data from the SD card.

Sleepyhead is great on backing up your data but fails in the restoring of it to anything other than itself.

SH will cram all your backup data into Documents\SleepyHeadData-Testing\Profiles\SleepyHeadProfileName\MachineName\Backup\year

I'm not sure the data structure on the S9 but on the A10 it stores data in sub-folders under DATALOG by date. For example DATALOG\20151229 for Dec 29, 2015. Also not all files are copied. None of the file with CRC extensions are copied and the "CSL" files are not copied. No idea what the data in the CSL file is referencing. I'm assuming crc is the cyclic redundancy check file and are probably not that important. The remaining EDF files are copied. You would probably need to copy those back to sub-folders and that's a pain unless you wrote a batch or VB script.

A directory on the SD card:
Volume in drive G is RESMED
Volume Serial Number is D484-950F

Directory of G:\DATALOG\20151229

Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee

Hi PollCat, I confess, I was fooling around with the data and it seems that I corrupted it. I was never one to let sleeping dogs lie. Oh-jeez I want all of the data to be on my card because my Doctor wants it there.

Hi AlanE, Thanks for all the info, I found a lot of data where you said it would be, but a lot of it is still missing. You can see it in SleepyHead and ResScan, but it doesn't seem to be on the computer. If I do an export to a CSV it is there when I open it with Excel or Open Office Calc. Go figure.
