Can I donate a CPAP machine that smells like smoke?
A friend of mine gave me his CPAP machine as a backup but I don't need it. He is a smoker and the machine has a faint hint of smoke. Will any charities be willing to take it to give to a smoker?

Get in touch with Mark (Supplier #2), they might accept and clean it up so can be donated to American sleep association which they have CPAP donation program

Supplier #2, and nearly all others, only take them if from non-smokers only. They may take it just for donation purposes, but not to resell.
Since this is a prescription item, you cannot offer it for sale or trade or giveaway here on this board. Nor could you legally do the same in your local paper. However, MANY people do sell or purchase CPAP machines all the time in their local trade papers and on Craigslist. Should someone happen to have a machine such as the one you have, as long as the person made sure to say "owned by smoker" in the ad, then the person who bought it would be aware of where it came from.
