Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT)
#11
RE: Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT)
Thanks very much for that Zonk.

Not sure if I will require one of those or not.
All I know is I am still very tired throughout the day. Have tried all sorts of changes to my daily patterns, except my medications. With my headaches I cannot afford to lower my meds., been there done that and not a very good result.

I go to sleep specialist on 3rd May. It won't come quick enough. Hopefully he will have an answer for me, even if it is what I already suspect, it will just be good to have it confirmed officially.

I was left alone in the house yesterday and last night so yesterday I decided to have a nap about 2pm. The next thing I knew it was 9pm! I went to the bathroom returned to bed and slept through until 7.30 this morning.
So 17 1/2 hours later I felt as if I had been run over by a truck. I had my mask on for all of that time.
AHI 2.76
Leaks 8.40
Good results I thought for such a long nap.

I could roll over and have a nana nap now if I let myself Sad
Sleep Tight...

That is the exact test I took...no results yet. I stayed awake for the 4/40 min periods. I'll let anybody who needs or wants to know what kind of results (bad or good ) are explained to me. Okay

Ripandsnort, would love to know your results thanks.

Are you saying you did not go to sleep at all during any of the 40minute blocks?
That would be a good result?
Sleep Tight...
