ResScan 5.3 Error

ResScan 5.3 Error
Hi. I'm new to the forum. I'm using Windows 10. I downloaded ResScan 5.3 and have a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset. I put the SD card in the computer and I get an error that says, "The connected device is not supported by this version of ResScan. Please refer to (ResMed website) for further details."

I went under options and unchecked the box that says show quick start dialog each time device is attached and tried again. Got the same error message. I went to the recommended website and it talks about ResScan 6.0 but not any earlier versions. I have tried different SD cards and an external card reader and it hasn't helped. I'm not sure if this means I will need to download 6.0 or if somehow I can get 5.3 to work. Any advise would be appreciated.

RE: ResScan 5.3 Error
Hi Sleepy5 - Welcome

The current version of ResScan is 6.0.  However, it incorporates a password requirement. A lot of ResScan users are using version 5.9 to avoid this inconvenience.   Either version should address your problem.

Here is the link Apnea Board members may use to request the latest version (6.0):

If you would like version 5.9 instead of 6.0, just change the version number in the link you are sent.

Good luck!

RE: ResScan 5.3 Error
You have an AirSense 10 machine, and I'm pretty sure that the old 5.3 version of ResScan did not support those machines, since they weren't even out yet.

You will need to upgrade to a newer version of ResScan - either 5.9 or 6.0 as referenced in Crimson Nape's post above.

RE: ResScan 5.3 Error
I uninstalled the 5.3 version and downloaded the 5.9 version. Tried the SD card again and had no problems at all. Thanks everyone for the advise.
