ResScan 5.9 Failed to Apply Settings error [resolved, see post #2]

SmartCard Reader ACR38
ResScan DataCard
ResMed AutoSet II w/EPRI can connect and erase the stored data on the card
The card is recognized and I made some changes

When applying the changes, the following error is received
Failed to apply settings

Does anyone know why or how to resolve this?

I resolved this issue.
The problem = sleep deprivation.
I had the card in upside down.
