I did not know that either. The little bird told me detailed data including flow data written directly on the card (not stored on the machine)

I think this is just semantics...the flow data is lost..."high resolution flow data" is written directly to SD and overwritten after 7 days - not written at all if SD isn't present. "detailed data" is stored in internal memory for 30 days and written to the card when inserted. AHI, leak and pressure will still be there and are imho the most important things to look at in many cases. So "all" is not lost when "high resolution flow data" is gone - AHI, leak, pressure, summary and compliance should all still be there...you just won't have the second by second replay.

Hi Fireman, welcome aboard
The reply usually quick, check if gone to trash/junk mail
In the meantime, you can download SleepyHead, its as good and some like even better

Okay thanks.
I,m under the impression, detailed data written directly on the card and get lost (not retrievable) if the card was not in the machine at the time.

RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 4.3)
I am sure this fault comes from new issues in windows 8.1. It makes a directory on each and every drive (also SD) with the name 'System Volume Information'. In it is information about the disk. ResMed equipment does not like this and thinks someone tampered the card.
Solution: write protect the card before putting it in the computer.
You might well not see that directory, as it is hidden.
Please forward this to everyone!

me too zonk. I left my SD card out one night and when I realized it, I put it back in (the next day after I woke up) and I never got the data for that night I left the card out back on my SD card so I was under the presumption that I would never have it back on the SD card. Anyway, that is what I thought based on what happened when I left my SD card out.

Well, looks like I'm wrong.

Could have sworn the 30 day data was stored...went back and looked on ResMed site and found out it ISN'T...

Sorry...Oops

RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 4.3)
Just downloaded this software and used it to view the stats on my SD card since I started using a CPAP machine December 2nd. This software works great and gives me instant feedback on how I'm doing. I do get free appointments with the clinic I bought the machine from but this is so much more useful and convenient.

Hi Canadan99, welcome aboard
I agree. The local supplier charges $20 for each download
I've used both resscan and SleepyHead but I like SleepyHead much better
