ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (OLD version: 5.5) [Archived Discussions]
RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 4.2)
Do a Windows System Restore to a time before you installed the drivers.

Backup any other data on your computer that you generated since the date of your system restore. In theory, you shouldn't use it, but do it anyway.
Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.
Useful links.

ResScan 3.16 = 95.3 MB install file
ResScan 4.1 = 88.0 MB install file

DIFFERENCE = 7.3 MB

At least that's all the difference I can find... but it's likely also possible that the newer version has been fixed to work with the newer S9 units that came out after ResScan 3.16 was released.

Up 4.2 MB again. Still no difference other than the full-screen summary (which I find a huge step forward...). That is as it appears to me, using an S8. For the S9 users there might be more to see! Huh

Meant to say version 4.2 is 88 MB, not version 4.1. Oops

And I made my own repeated mistake: 92,227,784 byte = not 92.2 MB, but should be 88 MB too.

As I think I said before, there's also an export data function in 4.2 - it seemed to me the only difference from 4.1 in doing a page by page comparison of the user manuals.
RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 4.2)
Hi to all and a special thanks to the person/people responsible for making the ResScan 4.2 available. Thanks
I purchased my own ResMed S9 Autoset after 6 weeks of the trial rental and the machine's "smarts" was what had hooked me (as well as being the recommendation of my sleep Specialist).
I had seen the information obtained at the retailer and really was looking for how to get this out of the machine when I managed to find this wonderful forum!!
The download was very simple and so was installation onto a Windows 8 Pro 64bit machine.
I went out and purchased a cheap SD card reader that plugs into the USB slot. The information from ResScan is awesome and I can see that a lot of members here seem to know how to read all the outputs and charts.
I've already dropped my "score" of 83 in the first sleep test, to 4.5 a week later with an ill-fitting mask and then to average 1.5 with the new F&P Zest.
After reading through some forum items, I also got the courage to reduce the ramp considerably and drop the humidity. Last few days below 1 and now I can see what has occurred each night from the software.
Thanks so much for your help and I will be staying around the forum and once I am experienced enough, will detail my own experiences. Sleep-well
