ResScan - [version 5.7] - [old version]
#41
RE: ResScan - new version 5.6 now available
Sometimes they take the file down for a day or so. Kind of strange, but it happens for some reason. I'd wait until a day or so passes and try again and (if it happens like the last time), the file will re-appear at the download link again.

In the meantime, you can download version 5.5 by simply changing the end of the download link from "ResScan_5.6.zip" to "ResScan_5.5.zip"

That will work currently and I'm pretty sure version 5.5 isn't much different from version 5.6.

RE: ResScan - [version 5.5]
Looks like ResMed has reverted to ResScan version 5.5 after putting out version 5.6 for some reason. ResScan 5.5 is now listed as the current version on the clinician side of their website.

All links for health care professionals are now going to version 5.5 (instead of 5.6) for some reason.

Until ResMed changes their link, Healthcareworker has changed the auto-responder email link back to version 5.5. Pretty sure there wasn't much difference between version 5.5 and 5.6, so I'm hoping that the basic functionality will be the same.

We'll keep an eye on this - not sure why they've reverted to the prior version. If anyone notices that a newer version comes along, or that version 5.6 is put back up, please post here or let me know. Thinking-about

What about the simplest explanation: "fat fingers" made a typo? It is not unheard of in the tech industry. Without a change log or some other indication of why they may have pulled 5.6, you might as well continue using 5.6 and compare its results to #SleepyHead. In data processing we have two famous acronyms: GIGO and NFWAWS.

I would have thought it was a mistake, but they also changed all the links and references on their clinician-only web pages saying the current version is now 5.5, not 5.6 like it said before.

I dunno... Dont-know

Once you install ResScan 5.7, the ResScan 5.7 Clinician Manual can be located in the ResScan subfolder inside the ResScan installation directory on your computer's "c:" drive, usually located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\ResMed\ResScan5\ResScan Clinician's Manual.pdf

RE: ResScan - [version 5.7]
I currently have version 5.6.0.9419 which works fine. If I download this new version can i have both versions on my computer or do I have to uninstall the old one.

Will it find my old data or do I have to do something? If I have to uninstall the old version what do I do to keep my data?

RE: ResScan - [version 5.7]
I've just installed 5.7 over 5.5 on a Win 7 home premium PC.

The new version has replaced the old one, which was automatically deleted. (I don't think that's a good idea!)

It found my old data no problems.
