Resmed AirSense 10 = junk?

you do know that this thread is almost a year old. Hope their issue has been resolved already Smile

I was just diagnosed with SA and went to my DME yesterday to buy ResMEd AirSense 10. Was told DME decided not to sell A/S 10 because it had been recalled a number of times. I then googled Air Sense 10 recalls and found out that Canadian Govt healthy care website lists the A/S 10 recall as caused by tubing/overheating problem affecting readings. Couldn't get that verification from the manufacturer. They denied that there have been recalls. Who to believe?
Not sure what to do. Will probably evaluate Respironics Dream Station. Forum, please shed some light!

The units were not recalled to my recollection when I researched this a few months ago. The issue you describe was resolved with a software update that was issued through the modem on the device. All has been fixed on that issue.

I believe this issue was resolved with a software update.

How does one know if their machine is on software previous to the fix?

There was apparently one recall in Canada. I didn't notice any others.

There is another thread from earlier this year on this recall topic where the software version numbers are listed. If you go into settings on your device and then to about area you can see what software is running your machine and humidifier.
