Comfort response setting - soft or normal?

Lot's of people prefer soft.
I personally do worse with soft. It's about how aggressively pressure is raised in response to a flow limit or snore event.

It's completely up to your preference. The great thing about the settings is that you can try one for a week or two, then try the other and see if you think there is a difference.
