For room air cleaners, highly recommended machines may have HEPA - High Efficiency Particulate Arrester - filters.
Note: I'm an epidemiologist, not a medical provider.

I have the same machine and bought these from one of the suppliers on the list:
Disposable Hypoallergenic Filters for AirSense™ 10, AirStart™ 10, AirCurve™ 10, and S9 Series CPAP Machines (6 pack) They work just fine, and if I recall correctly, they were on sale, down from their usual price of 6 for $11.95. Replacement was simple and it appears they do the job just fine.

Make sure when you are selecting filters, that you are getting something that either SAYS hypoallergenic or says RESMED. It's really hard to get a Resmed BRAND filter - everything is a knockoff and they simply are not as good as the brand name when it comes to allergy sufferers. However, as mentioned there are some good knockoff hypoallergenic filters out there.
