Resmed Airsense 10 tip

Resmed Airsense 10 tip
I have a Resmed Airsense 10 Auto that was problematic for a while after I started to use it latelast November. I found it noisy and loud enough to wake me at night. Eventually Resmed repaired the machine after they found the internal seals were faulty, and it has been fine ever since, about four months now. One of the things I put to Resmed was that if the humidifier is not taken out as soon as you get up in the morning the seals can compress over time and loose the sealing ability. It just makes sense really, so that is what I do each day now, and I only refit it prior to going to bed. The usual cleaning is applied regularly as per instructions from the brains trust on the forum also. This could apply to any CPAP machine really.

Every time mine starts whistling, I rub a very small film of Vaseline on the inside of the air ports of the humidifier tub. This allows the ports to slide easily against the ports of the machine without making any noise. I only need to do this about once per month. Works for me.

Better still, if you can find some, is food grade silicone grease.
