Resmed Auto AirSense 10 replacement for my Dreamstation

Resmed Auto AirSense 10 replacement for my Dreamstation
Hi all. I am thinking Canada probably lags behind the U.S. when it comes to Philips coming around to repairing or replacing our machines up here. Logistics aside, I was given a loaner from my CPAP technician and it is a Resmed Auto AirSense for Her but he assured me that it is programmed to the male algorithm and  to a fixed pressure reading as opposed to varying min and max auto variations.
In any event he also programmed AUTO Climate and 27C Tube temperature and heating set as 4.  I find that there is very little water left in the reservoir in the morning and I sleep approximately 8 hrs. I have tried switching to MAN Climate and  lowering the heating to 3 but it didn't help.

Try  turning off the heated tubing and lower the humidity setting to 2.  I did that with mine and it seems to work.

"I find that there is "very little" water left in the reservoir in the morning and I sleep approximately 8 hrs."
"Very little" water, compared to what?  Do you want to sleep less than 8hrs?

Actually, after re-reading your post, it has left me wondering what your "real" question is?
Huhsign

If you sleep 8hrs and have "some" water left (not dry), isn't that what you would expect to happen?  That seems
to be a good outcome.
Or, do you want to end up with more water left over?  If so, why and how much?
Or, do you want to end up with less water left over?
Do you want your tank to be bone dry?
Are you afraid you will run out in the middle of the night?  If you haven't, then what is your concern?

If you had stated that you run out of water at 3-4 AM, that would be an actual problem to try to fix...
Your "problem", not so much...

"it is programmed to the male algorithm and  to a fixed pressure reading as opposed to varying min and max auto variations."

If you want a machine that does Min/Max auto settings, you need to make sure that you get the "Auto-Set" model of the ResMed machine.  It comes in 3 different models: Auto-Set and two other fixed pressure CPAP versions.  They will likely try to steer you to the fixed models, if you don't specify Auto-Set...
