Resmed Auto CPAP Advise Settings ?
Hi Guys,

I am reaching out to you for some advise on some settings on my Resmed Auto CPAP machine ?

Issue :
I have noticed I have been waking up multiple times a night and don't feel so great when I get up in the morning.

Ramp :

Humidity
I am not a fan of the humidity, so I removed it - I like cold air - but have not been able to get cold air so far
Temp. removed from hose
Climate control set to manual

Mask :
Fisher & Paykel Simplus™ - Full Faced Mask1234567

Pillow :
CPAPMAX 2.0

Goal :
Looking to sleep trough the night, waling up as few times as possible
lowering AHI
Have cold Air

Thanks in advance for any advise - much appreciated

Your settings are Airsense 10 at 11-14 with EPR 3.0 and ramp from 4.0 over 20 minutes. Resulting events are well controlled with more CA than obstructive. I would increase ramp minimum to 6 and lower minimum pressure to 9.0 with EPR at 2 and see if that meets your objectives for sleeping through the night, fewer events and lower pressure.

The ramp is strictly a comfort feature, but delays the time for reaching therapeutic pressure. The minimum pressure setting is pretty low, and you are breathing pretty hard against it. You don't have any obstructive events, so a reduced minimum pressure should be okay, and more comfortable, but you will want to watch that it does not let more obstructive events in. Reduced EPR may reduce CA, but in combination with reduced minimum pressure will also prevent obstructive events and may reduce sleep disturbance. You can revisit the comfort issue after a few nights.
