I was thoroughly convinced that I could never use a nasal mask, until I tried one.

I only suggest that WTF try one.

My DME says that my insurance will send me a new mask every 3 months. Since I started my therapy on Halloween, early February I will inquire about a nasal mask.

Something more to get used to, heh.

Don't be in a big hurry. I would only try it if you're comfortable with your therapy in general by then. Have your pressures dialed in, sleeping through the night, etc.

There's always time.

Actually that would be quite good!

I'm sorry I never had the pleasure. Is he still a member?

I haven't seen Retired_Guy on the board for some time. He is apparently busy with other things.

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

However....

Everybody's different - except RG - he's the same.

P10 is the only one for me. I hated everything else.

Of course, I went that route because of comments initially made by, who else... retired_guy. I'm very grateful to him for his comments.

My best nights sleeps seem to have the highest AHI events. Ah well, I think I will just ignore it. I slept good last night and feel great.

If my doctor complains let him find a solution.

In some sense, that is often the best attitude. The only reason we have CPAP machines is so we can sleep. And the only reason we sleep is so we can enjoy life while we're awake.

I think I'm switching back to my trusty Aloha. Just seems a little more secure.
