RE: Resmed S9 repair is it worth the cost.
If it helps any, when I talked to a repair guy, these machines are DESIGNED to last 15,000 hours. Resmed and Respironics generally get about 2 years beyond that before there is a massive die off of the machines.

The car comparison depends on what you drive and replacement costs (I own a 20 year old Odyssey)
