RE: Resmed vs Respironics
That is pretty similar to my own experience. I do think you've arrived.

(It would be like Red Sox vs Yankees) BUT, I have seen several post indicating that the machines use different algorithms. I wanted to know, objectively if possible, waht the difference is, and how it affects the therapy. (Specifically, I am using a Respironics Dreamstation Auto, and wonder if I would see a difference with a Resmed A10 Auto).

Thanks in advance

nobody knows for sure

i looked at both algorithms
and my instinct said resmed was better
based on my engineering background and knowledge of systems and how they are controlled

it is more likely that one algo may be better for one person and the other for a different person

the only thing for sure is that they are a little bit different
and this whole area is relatively new with essentially research being done
and there is no one definite best practice that should be used
