Respironics Amara exhaust port
I just got this Amara mask today. I wanna use it cause it seems more comfortable then nasal mask. But i wanna know from others who use it or know anything about it, does the air come out the exhaust port all the time??? My machine is 15, and i do use ramp, but no matter what air come out of exhaust port and its much louder then my zest q which has a filter...

Any info will help. Im a firefighter and just dont wanna bother them in bunkroom either.

Thanks.

my pressure is 16. i had to give up on this mark because, at higher pressures, the mask leaked too much.

all masks will shoot air out the exhalation port/valve but some are quieter than others.

Yes ... Exhaled air come out from vents holes all the time as fresh air comes

Every CPAP mask must leak air all the time, or you'll be rebreathing your exhaled air and will suffocate.

Some leak more air and are more noisy. I haven't seen an Amara mask in person.
Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.

If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.
