Respironics Omnilab

Respironics Omnilab
So if this is the machine they do a PSG with, shouldn't it theoretically be able to operate in all modes?  While I'm not really in a position to spend 2k, there are two of them for that amount on a very popular auction site.  Can you get data from the omnilab?  On the auction site it is the older design the large dark grey looks like a giant loaf of bread.  But I have also seen an omnilab that is the 'system one' style on vendor twos site.

Seems like the omnilab would be the machine to end all machines.

RE: Respironics Omnilab
That question is likely outside of the scope of expertise of most forum members here, unless one of them happens to be a lab tech or Respiratory Therapist who works in a sleep lab using one of those devices.

Anyone out there that knows?

RE: Respironics Omnilab
I googled and found this (which is probably a newer version than the pair of machines on the auction site)

Technical Specs: https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/p...ifications

It makes sense that if you are going to titrate all possible patients/phenotypes then you need a machine capable of all modes to avoid switching machines in mid-titration

So the pair on the auction site presumably have all the modes that were available at the time of manufacture/design

But that's just me applying common sense and not based on any specific knowledge.
