RE: Rise Time
I think you will find it is the time it takes to reach treatment pressure after you initiate a breath. With COPD for example, you want a quick breath in and have a shorter rise time. You may be better leaving those settings in default for now.

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

RE: Rise Time
Rise time is the time it takes for the device to change from the expiratory pressure setting to the inspiratory pressure setting. This screen allows you to adjust the rise time so you can find the desired setting. A setting of “0” is the fastest rise time, while “3” is the slowest. This is only available if Flex type is set to None and PS max is greater than zero. Rise Time during Bi-Flex is 300 msec.

RE: Rise Time
Yes, that is how it works, you are on exhale and initiate a breath. The rise time is the msec it takes to pressure up to the treatment pressure. The pattern is box like in short ramp, and wave like in slow ramp.
