Excessive Events
I use a Resmed ASV machine, coupled with a Resmed F20 mask. I have no leakage, yet I am getting 12 to 14 events per hour. MY settings are Mode ASV, EPAP 10, Min PS 3, Max PS 15, Ramp off. I used to get an event range well below 5, usually down in the 2-3 range.
Can anyone offer some advise to help me solve this problem?

RE: Excessive Events
I got around a 20 AHI using my s9 Adapt ASV (without a soft cervical collar - 0 AHI with it). You probably are either suffering from positional apnea (in which a soft cervical collar may help) or your EPAP pressure is too low (I assume all of your events are either O's or H's (UA's on ASV) and zero CA's.
My suggestions would be to either 1. increase EPAP slowly until hopefully the events decrease, or 2. switch to ASV auto if you can (it will have an EPAP range you can set with a min and max to help control these events), or 3, if both of those suggestions fail, you might want to try a soft cervical collar. It seems like your PS is ok with the max at 15. Please post and OSCAR chart if you can also.
