SH results 1st attempt

RE: SH results 1st attempt
The data says Ramp is off, but a 4-minute ramp time is fine if you need it. I kind of prefer that the machine just hits me with the pressure. I start at 12/9, so I figure you can handle it. It's not that big of a deal, and to me it feels like I'm finally getting my sinuses expanded for the day. It's purely a personal matter, but considering how fast your pressure increases, I doubt you actually need the ramp.

I forgot that I had turned it off.  When you say "I start at 12/9" does that mean that you have Ramp Off and Pressure Max/Min = 12/9?

If your ramp is off than change your minimum pressure from 4cm to 8cm and you can leave the maximum pressure alone. Your flow limitations tend to drive pressure higher than it needs to be so your current maximum pressure is working good for you.

My starting pressures are 12 IPAP and 9 EPAP.  I don't find using a ramp to reach the starting pressure is very useful.  Your pressures range from 4 to 11, and an effective minimum pressure for you appears to be around 8.0.  My suggestion is to set the minimum pressure to 8.0, your maximum pressure to 11.0 and don't worry about ramp.  My post was not very clear, so apologies for that.  Mainly we want you to be comfortable, and to continue your effective treatment.

Flow limitations drive your pressure, and since you don't have any apnea events with your current settings, I'm not suggesting a maximum pressure increase, however, your CPAP pressure in auto mode will be at or near your maximum all the time, due to the flow limitations.   I don't know what causes the FL, but there is not an urgent need to treat that.

Tonight I will have Ramp Off, Pressure Min = 8,  Pressure Max = 11.  Is that right?

It worked out well although I can't post the waveforms apparently because I forgot to move the SD card from my mac back to the CPAP machine unitil morning.  But here's what I can post:
