SLEEPYHEAD SOFTWARE/ F&P ICON+
#1
Hello,

My first post as a new member.
I have an F&P ICON+ CPAP machine and am happy about its operation.I have also downloaded their Infosmart software. Whilst I'm happy to some degree with the reports I receive, I see that Sleepyhead offers more detailed info. and explanations.

I was about to download the Sleepyhead package when I noticed the discussion about SD cards. As F&P users are aware ,Infosmart data logging is via a USB stick.

Is the USB stick compatible to download the Infosmart data to the Sleepyhead software ?

Thanks

Peter

Peter,

Yes it is compatible, I have an older Icon Auto and use latest version of Sleepyhead on a Windows machine. I simply put the proprietary F&P USB stick into one of my USB slots on the computer and let Sleepyhead detect it and Bingo, it downloads the data just fine.

Hey Theterrys,

I have the same machine you have and I use Sleepyhead with no problems! Worry Wart that I am, I worried that my doc's office wouldn't be able to read my data but they could, no problem.

Thanks Peter

Hi Peter, I just wanted to add that the InfoSmart software package is able to output reports in PDF format. This proves to be essential when visiting a sleep doc. They may know something about sleep disorders, but know little about computers. I simply copied the PDF reports to a memory stick, then took that with me to the doc. He was able to read all reports from this stick on his PC without the need for extra software. Few doctors have either Sleepyhead or InfoSmart on the PC's.
