RE: ResMed vs Weinmann devices
Hi gegoula and welcome
Most folks around here uses either PR or ResMed machines, hardly any uses Weinmann and its not supported by the free SleepyHead software. Having the machine supported by the software is huge plus, most of us go nuts seeing the data on our computers

I've started with S9 AutoSet and last year got AirsSense 10 AutoSet , cannot go wrong with either

Good luck

I think the Weinmann devices are not available in the USA. Last mention I remember of one was from a forum participant from the middle east.

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

A friend of mine is using Weinmann Somnobalance e but is partially supported by SleepyHead. I was wondering if anyone has used it or probably even heard of it. Smile

RE: ResMed vs Weinmann devices
Sorry I didnt reply sooner!! I have a Weinmann Somnobalance E and am very happy with it. I dont check my data using the software which is a minus but where I am (in Jerusalem) I only had 2 real choises a BMC machine made in China and the Weinmann made in Germany. German engineering wins every time. Plus if I ever need to check my data, I can bring it to the sleep clinic every Tuesday and have them run the numbers (again this is Israel).

I have traveled with this machine to the US, UK and Bulgaria and never a problem!!

Best of luck!!!
