STOPPED OXYGEN
#11
RE: STOPPED OXYGEN
Personal observation.
Some people need it, and most people do not, even IF their O2 Sats said they needed it badly.
IMHO It needs to be verified via data.

I'll GUESS that you will see a great improvement with CPAP vs. no CPAP no Oxygen supplement. BUT Oxygen is so important to your body that it needs to be verified via data.
BUT that is a GUESS, and neither a suggestion nor advice and definitely not a medical opinion.

I can assure you of one thing beyond doubt, Big Pharma we are not.

FWIW when I researched for myself as it appeared I may need supplemental oxygen, Inogen is one of the higher rated ones I've seen.

I have Respironics EverFlo Q, It is worse than a new years party. The sound is only party of the problem, the air doesn't feel pure in comparison to hospital oxygen...Serry

Good...Does Medicare/Medicaid cover it? Serry

RE: STOPPED OXYGEN
IMHO you should have your own personal recording oximeter

1. to verify you are getting enough O2 with your generator and
2. to verify your sats are ok with CPAP and without your generator.

This doesn't need to happen every night, only periodically to make sure your sats are ok.

FYI, I assume you know that Dreamstations have been recalled, ALL of them.

OSCAR, I'd love to record but I don't have a smart phone and the prices are outrageous for a low income senior....Serry

RE: STOPPED OXYGEN
OSCAR doesn't work with a smart phone. You would need a Laptop or Desktop (PC).

Woot has an HP EliteBook 840 14" laptop for $400. I would suggest looking at your local Goodwill store. I have donated many older PCs to mine.
