I see there's a Slimline tube that's 6'. Maybe it's better because it's thinner, but is it ok that it's not climate-controlled?

Shorter tube than Climate Line Tubing?
I use Resmed Airsense 10 with Climate Line tube. The tube is 6.5' and gets caught up in things, especially when I turn over. Does anyone know if there is a shorter tube I can use, ideally 2-3'?

RE: Shorter tube than Climate Line Tubing?
The heated tube's purpose is to get rid of "rainout" which is where condensation forms from the humid air from the humidifier. Because the air inside the hose is warmer than the air outside the hose, condensation forms. Kinda like a cold Coke can taken out of the fridge on a warm day.
If you are not using the humidifier, you can use any hose you want. You can even use a regular hose when using the humidifier if you use a hose cover or the room is warm enough. Just make sure the setting on the machine is set to whatever non-heated hose you have. There's settings for the slimline and for regular.

Consider also getting something like a hose buddy. There are various options like it including homemade ones that stick to the wall or headboard. I don't use them because it's just a call to my predator cat-buddies to chew on the hose. I get you though. Lately, I've been getting tangled up and it is annoying.

You could always try a snuggle hose or other hose cover. For some reason I don't get as tangled in a snuggle hose or hose cover. I use one on my climateline hose and it really seems to help. It may just be perception because it feels like a blanket vs a plastic hose, but it may be worth a shot.

I second the suggestion for the hose cover. I also tuck the hose under my arm on the side I mostly sleep on to reduce the pull on my head. It had the side effect of reducing my leaks to almost nothing. Of course, I don't move around too much when I'm asleep. YMMV.

Several suppliers do have a 4 foot tube. If you stay on one side of the bed, then shouldn't be a problem.

Standard sizes available are 6', 8', and 10'. Supplier #10 also has 4' available.

4' tubes are standard on the HDM Z-1 series machines. Check them if you want a 4' tube and are having trouble finding one.
