Recently I have been increasing my min. pressure trying to decrease my AHI. This seems to be working and I have decreased my AHI by ~1/2. However, I've noticed that since I increased pressure from 7cm to 7.6cm I've had apneas that last 20+ seconds two days in a row. I was wondering if you could take a look at my data see if these are in fact actual apneas and if so, should I increase/decrease pressure to deal with these events? Thank you.
I don't see anything concerning about these events. The first OA is preceeded by a deep inspiration or sigh, followed by a pause in breathing and another large breath and second pause, with a clear arousal following that. Best guess is just rolling over in bed. The CA event is an isolated pause in breathing with no apparent cause. The final one again looks like some movement with a pause in breathing. Nothing unusual in the respiratory rate or volume and flow limits are low. I think you will end up at a minimum pressure of 8.0 with EPR 3, but therapy looks good and the machine is responding appropriately.

Thank you I appreciate the reply. I was a bit alarmed when I saw the length of the apnea. My understanding of your reply is that it’s normal to have an apnea after moving around (arousal) would that be correct?
Apnea can be a result of moving, kind of like when you're awake, you may hold your breath as you exert yourself. Most of these were on the order of 20 seconds, give or take. That probably happens dozens of times per day while you're awake.

@OP - Have you ever been reading a suspenseful book, watching a suspenseful TV show, or working on a delicate project or hobby. You may well stop breathing while concentrating on any of the above common situations. No big deal.
