The noise on your machine is likely caused by the seals and gaskets between the humidifier chamber and the machine. This is a well covered topic here and I'm sure if you search this you will find the discussion. Make sure the gaskets and seals are seated correctly.

Hi Chill,

I too am from Queensland Maleny (hinterland) and have just started treatment I was diagnosed with severe apnoea - although there are worse cases than me.
After 5nights of using the machine my AHI have come down to 2.1 It will get better.
