Sleep Architecture

Sleep Architecture
Hello All,

So, I am studying sleep architecture.  I am also diligently studying my Bipap data daily on Sleepyhead.  I notice a pattern in the AHI over the course of the night.  It is a similar pattern day-to-day.  What I would love is to have the AHI mapped next to a graph of the stages of sleep over the course of the night.  I imagine that is too sophisticated for a Bipap machine to determine.  If the developer of Sleepyhead is on this board, or if there are any knowledgeable PSG techs on here, please educate me!

Thanks,

Joe

RE: Sleep Architecture
You can only tell which stage of sleep your in with an EEG device. I got a Neurobit Optima 4. There are some consumer types that look like a futuristic headband, but I don't know how well they work.

EEG is really messy when it comes to setup, electrodes come off, you scratch your head and the data from that electrode gets corrupted etc.

OpenBCI looks really advanced for the price. You have to email the manufactures and ask about how precise the device is.
