I hear you on the daytime hypersomnolence - I'd get to the point I would stagger if I attempted to get up and walk around.
If you currently sleep on your back, I strongly encourage you to sleep on your side to see if that helps. For some of us with OSA, sleeping on the back, rather than the side, may increase obstructive apneas 7 times higher or more. Sleeping on my side dropped the AHI (apnea hypopnea index) from 5.0 or higher with runs of events to the <3.0 range.
