But then it broke and my doctor gave me a Resmed 10. Now I am no stranger to CPAP therapy and I understand that it takes a while to get adjusted but I can't use this machine. It feels like I am breathing through mud. I have tried to adjust the humidity level and the tubing temp. and each night I immediately become so congested. It's like the Resmed 10 is causing problems instead of helping. Please help!!! The doctor thinks I am nuts but I am a pretty reasonable and patient person. Any one else have this problem? It's getting to the point that I may try to purchase and old resmed 8 if I can find one. Last night I started up my Aircurve 10 Vauto, and had the same sensation. I had pressure but no flow. I could hear what sounded like a flapper valve cutting off flow on inhales. I tried reducing the quantity of water in the humidifier, but that didn't fix it. I then reviewed settings, but made no changes. On startup, the problem was cleared. So it seems like these machines may be able to incur and error that is like what your describe. In my case it is intermittent, but I'm going to keep an eye on it. I almost went to the backup last night.
