Yikes.

I'm not sure my heart would stand for that kind of abuse, but suggestion well taken.  Bigwink
My get-up-and-go musta got up and went.  Cool

RE: Sleep Study Expires?
Upsman, it will be a hassle, but you should personally contact the clinic that performed the sleep study, or request that your PCP office staff make the request and get copies of whatever is available. That evidence is what Medicare needs and Apria needs and you need to avoid future diagnostic sleep studies. Do whatever it takes. It should be a pretty easy matter to request the records if you can remember approximately when the study was done. Nearly every new member that comes here gets the same advise...keep your records of studies safely in your possession, or you will end up wishing you had them. You will absolutely not have to do another study for Medicare or almost any insurer, unless you don't have those records. So, you know what must be done.

I agree with Sleeprider. Best wishes you do get this resolved sooner rather than later. And hopefully as painless as possible.

PS that coffee episode was about 10 years ago. I've learned from that.

RE: Sleep Study Expires?
Your sleep study is less than 5 years old. Most insurance companies follow Medicare guidelines. Primarily, they are looking at whether you are USING YOUR MACHINE. A new study costs $1,500-$3,500. They don't need that to confirm that you are using your machine - they just need a readout from your SD card. So, check with the insurance company because something is amiss.

Also, ALWAYS get copies of your data - Xrays on CD, printouts of reports and with a sleep study, a copy of the raw data, not just the report. Inevitably when you most need it, the data will not be available.
