Back to the Vauto in CPAP/fixed pressure

RE: Back to the Vauto in CPAP/fixed pressure
That works for me, the best target Va, giving MV at the best pressure xx. To get to the target Va giving the MV, you may need PS. Going by last nights chart again, the minute vent was low at 6.12. Even though last night isn't a good chart to use, because of the variables.

The tidal volume is like an earthquake graph. You would need to zoom in and see, but I wouldn't bother with this chart. Get the FF mask that fits the best, or get another one from the DME to trial. Try a smaller size collar, long term a night time collar may actually be good for your neck, even though it is messing up now? get some orthopaedic diagnosis, then physio or chiro on it. I can't see getting your head on your neck in the right position, being a bad thing.

It would have been interesting to see the o2 meter. You have a different one that the cms50f. I assume the readings per minute are the same. It will pick up any desaturations. Going by the chart when you had the o2 meter, the events aren't bad enough to cause a desat. use the usb and program that came with it to see it work in real time.
You can check your meter by breathing fast to see it rise and hold your breath for as long as you can, with reasonable comfort, to see it drop. You can also see the lag time, the time it takes for blood to get from your lung to your finger tip. There is probably a circulation chart somewhere on the net, that gives the time for good and bad circulation.

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

CMS-50D+ is what I have.  Any tests in the Doctors offices have been similar.

You have the software program, to see the chart being made in real time with it?
