Sleep Study Thoughts?

Sleep Study Thoughts?
Wife has apnea, and thinks I might also.  Got a sleep study - not sure what to think of the results (haven't seen the doctor for the follow-up yet).  Would appreciate your thoughts.  Did a follow-on narcolepsy study (MSLT) the next day, but haven't seen those results yet.

Was hoping to upload the sleep study report, but technology is not working.

Total time in bed 415.8 minutes
Total sleep time 384.0 minutes
sleep efficiency 92.4%
sleep latency 3.3 minutes
REM latency 84.0 minutes  (87.3 minutes from lights off)

4 periods of REM observed

99 stage shifts after sleep onset
WASO: 28.5 minutes

Of the total arousals, 55 were spontaneous in nature (8.6 events/hour).
0 arousals associated with limb movement.

Respiratory Data:
REM Index 4.9 hypopnea/hr
NREM Index .7 hypopnea/hr + .4 RERA = 1.1

Arousals:
Spontaneous 42 NREM, 1 REM = 55 total
Respiratory Event 1 NREM, 0 REM = 1
Resp Event w/ Desat 1 NREM, 0 REM = 1
TOTAL 44 NREM, 1 REM = 57

RE: Sleep Study Thoughts?
I may have missed it, but I don't see snoring there.  I do see hypos, with a strong desat down to 79% which, and don't freak out on me...is truly nasty.

Why would your wife suspect you of having SA?  That will be a strong indicator....snoring, snarking, arousals, desats...classic.

You'll get a prescription for a machine that will/ought to titrate you over several hours if it is fully automatic (good machine, for example, is the RESMED AS10 Autoset version or Auto 'for her').  It will adjust to your needs and find its own minimum and maximum pressures.
