Sleepless Night

I'm attaching my Sleepyhead data from last night.  Basically one hour of sleep and that was only after I reduced the minimum pressure of my machine back down to 6 from a 7.  I don't know if the pressure had anything to do with it really, as I had taken my pain medication prior to bedtime and it tends to keep me awake, but without it, the pain usually keeps me tossing and turning all night.  I was also preparing for an all day trip today to attend the funeral of my Aunt, so that may have had me somewhat stressed.  AHI was over 19.

Whats the cause of your pain?

I had taken my pain medication prior to bedtime and it tends to keep me awake,

Vicodin used to keep me awake at night before I started CPAP therapy. But now it doesn't. Doctor told me that narcotics and other sedatives make apnea worse because they relax the throat muscles.

You say you got one hour of sleep with the machine. Did you spend any time sleeping without the machine?

My pain is Chronic back pain from Fibromyalgia, DDD, Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, etc. Yes, it was a bad night and only one hour of sleep total.
