Sleepy Head Locked

RE: Sleepy Head Locked
Hello Crimson Nape,

thanks for the heads up, I was confusing it with the ResMed S9 Oximeter Attachment

RE: Sleepy Head Locked
OTOH, I'd bet that Encore Pro/Basic would read the data, and then some programmer could compare the file data with the printed data, and maybe add the Respironics oximeter decoding to SleepyHead. Somebody has to collect the first data.

OTGH, how many Respironics oximeters are out there? The Contec oximeters usually do a good-enough job, even if there are some bugs right now. They can be worked on a lot more easily.

I put Sleepy Head into full screen mode using the VIEW drop down box (top left) I can not
get it to go back to prior viewing mode. All these drop down boxes no longer function now that
the program entered  full screen mode. These are File, View, Data and Help.

Is this typical? How can I get out of  full screen mode?

Stan

I just downloaded SleepyHead to a different laptop a couple of days ago & immediately ran into this problem. (I had previously been using the broken-GL version of SH on a very old laptop.) For me, though, F11 or clicking at the edge of the window doesn't take me out of full-screen mode. I seem to be stuck there. Even closing the program and reopening it doesn't put me back to normal view. This wouldn't be a problem except that the menu drop-down boxes aren't working. I also wasn't able to do a screen-shot with F12.

Any ideas about how to fix this?

Thanks.

green wings,
It's probably the registry settings.  Here is a file to correct this:

Thanks, Crimson Nape. I ran that batch file. It zoomed by very quickly. From looking at it with the "edit" function, it seems like it's supposed to stop and ask me to hit "enter" at some point? I also didn't find any backup file with registry settings on my desktop after I ran it.

I didn't say in my original post, but the commands ALT-F, ALT-E, had also stopped working. I closed the SleepyHead program by hitting the Windows key so that I could see the SH icon.

Okay, I just tried deleting the "geometry" registry key manually then deleting everything in the SleepyHead program folder and reinstalling. The program is working now. I'm finding it hard to think this through clearly, but it seems like the problem will still be there if I hit the F11 key again? I won't hit it (unless I forget).

Thanks.

RE: Sleepy Head Locked
It should be fine. The registry possibly had the window metrics larger than your screen resolution.
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee

RE: Sleepy Head Locked
I hit F11 to see if SleepyHead locked up again when it went to full-screen mode, and it did. Ugh.

The registry key that I deleted yesterday (called "geometry) has this value:

40 00 42 00 79 00 74 00       @.B.y.t.
65 00 41 00 72 00 72 00        e.A.R.r.
61 00 79 00 28 00 01 00        a.y.(...
D9 00 D0 00 CB 00 00 00       U.D.E...
02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00         ........
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00         ........
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00         ........
00 00 05 00 55 00 00 00         ....U...
00 00 02 00 FF 00 00 00          ....y...
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00          ........
00 00 00 00 17 00 00 00          ........
00 00 05 00 55 00 00 00          ........
00 00 02 00 D7 00 00 00          ....X...
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00           ........
04 00 00 00 00 00 05 00           ........
56 00 29 00                               V.).

Any idea what this key does? Seems weird if it sets the SH display size - seems like that would default to whatever my laptop normally uses as full-screen display size.

RE: Sleepy Head Locked
P.S. I am able to temporarily fix this problem by deleting the registry key again. SH works fine so long as I don't hit F11.

I'm thinking maybe the batch file didn't work for me because I wasn't in administrator mode.
