SleepyHead Time Between Events

Just received AirSense 10 Autoset and am amazed at the data/charts that are avaialable using SleepyHead. Kudos to Jedimark for developing this software and apneaboard for providing so many excellent resources.

A bit troubled to find out that I am displaying many Cheyne-Stokes episodes in my daily flow rate plots. My AHI has been running 10-26 per day, and after some research, I made an appointment with my Sleep Specialist to address this issue. It is very tedious to read the duration in seconds of the flow oscillations and the absence of flow from the charts. A representative sampling from the last 8 days will be useful in discussing the direction to take to remedy Cheyne-Stokes breathing. The last thing I want is to be told I need another sleep lab study; just finished two labs to qualify for the AirSense 10 Autoset.

Is it possible to mark the start and finish of an apnea event and have SleepyHead show the duration in minutes or seconds? Or is there a better way to analyze the flow chart to extract the Cheyne-Stokes data?

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about the Cheyne-Stokes, but the time and duration of apneas and hypopneas can be determined in a couple of ways:

1. Click on the Events tab, just under the calendar. Within that you can get a detailed listing of the time and duration of various events

2. Zoom in on the flow graph and lay your cursor on an event. A pop-up will highlight the duration and the event duration will be shaded on the graph.

I'm not sure if this answers your question - maybe some others can chime in.

Both for the welcome and the information about getting the event lengths. The duration of events pop up and were just what I was looking for. This newbie is now a tad wiser.
