READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS!
SleepyHead Testing binaries (aka development snapshots/nightlies) are finally back for the willing and brave for 1.1.0... you can grab them here:
Notes
--------
Windows & Linux versions are built static 64bit single binary executables... (Just download run 'em, no installer needed.)
They are both UPX (https://upx.github.io/) compressed binaries, so it's highly likely your virus scanner will arc up because it's a wrapped binary.. If that bothers you, wait for an official installer or build the source yourself.
Mac's are normal .dmg, so you know what to do already with those.. open, drag and drop anywhere. run. I'd expect it to break on anything less than recent MacOS version.. Let me know how you go. I've only got the last two versions of MacOS to play with.
No help docs are included yet, it's not able to be linked into the binaries as a resource.. It will be an easy drop in later once the texts are actually written.
No 32bit builds yet.. they still build fine, I just haven't built 32bit static Qt libraries yet and have had my more than my fill of building Qt source for a week or three.
Graphics engines on Windows platform are now switchable in Preferences (in the Appearance tab), but I haven't had enough feedback yet on whether software OpenGL rendering fixes the what "BrokenGL" fixes. (If you used to have to run BrokenGL, I'd like feedback on this)
BrokenGL is still an option on top of this new system if things don't work out... The Linux build IS BrokenGL, that's the only way I could get it single binary.
Linux builds were built on Ubuntu 18.04 Mate, but being static may (or may not) work elsewhere.. I'm hopeful, but expecting font libraries to be a borking factor. If you have success on other versions, please let me know so I can maintain a list of what works.
-----------------------
*PLEASE NOTE*
-----------------------
SleepyHead will pick a new SleepyHeadData folder because it's based of the main development branch.. I suggest while testing this that you use a fresh profile. (You can risk an upgrade if you want, but then there is no going back to the old version.)
Yes, you can run both simultaneously now... This is a development branch, no use comparing what "used to work", because what "used to work" didn't really, and had bugs. I assure you things are going forwards!
I tried my best, but there are some issues (resmed summaries in particular) that won't be fixable until the 2.0 codebase goes live in a couple of months.
Anyway, that's all.. Have fun and sleep well,
Jedimark
