Sleepyhead crashes downloading SD card

RE: Sleepyhead crashes downloading SD card
For John9991's info I have installed on my 64-bit Win 10 PC:

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) - 12.0.40660
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86) - 12.0.40660

There are also earlier versions of Visuall C++ installed, which are not relevant for this issue

I suggest you delete the software and data on your Win 7 machine (assuming it has no historical data you want to keep) and start again by installing the Installer.exe version (81.4 MB).  This automatically checks whether you have 64-bit or 32-bit and then installs the correct version.  In my case this worked by correctly installing the 64-bit version, which then installed correctly and ran smoothly.

Hope it works for you.

v1.0.2 simply refused to work at all on my 64-bit Win 10 PC.   I think it has something to do with the fact that v1.0.2 is 32-bit only, although other 32-bit programs have installed and run normally here.

Regards

I did the install of 0.9.8-1-T3 and it works just fine - imported a year of data and then successfully added a second flash card of newer data. This was on a Win7Pro 64 bit installation.

I was going to try to install the Visual C++ 2013 runtime and then try SH V1 again but couldn't find that runtime on Microsoft - just 2010 and 2015. So I'll probably let sleeping dogs lie for now and keep using the older version.

Thanks Soton - with the product ver number I was able to locate the download on MS... the curious thing is I seem to have most, but not all of it, installed in 32 and 64 bit versions already although slightly earlier versions (12.0.21nnn). When I get time I will give it a try and post back here...
