Sleepyhead software - help with understanding charts
Hi all,

Here are the charts from last night...and I need help understanding how to read them...

I know my mask was off for a few hours so I understand the gap in the charts. My AHI usually runs less than 5, but was a bit on the higher side last night...

Suggest you review the beginner's guide:
http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...SleepyHead

Now, your last session has about 2 hours of Large Leak from about 00:20 to 02:10.
That's 36% of the time -- that compromises your therapy. You must master the leak problem.

We don't need quite that many charts. The one below has most of the information we need, and the ideal configuration is described in this tutorial: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...ganization

You are doing okay for starting out, but need to control the leaks. It appears once you get the leaks under control, minimum pressure may need to be increased to around 8.0, but it's hard to say for sure with all the leaks. Also, your EPR setting is keeping your exhale pressure very low, and this can allow obstructive apnea to occur, and might be the reason you're getting some CA. I would lower EPR to 2.0 and focus on mask fit and leaks for now.

Yup, I can see the leaks being an issue...guess much more seat time is going to be the answer!
