Snore
Loud snore when sleeping on the back.
Leaks were minimum. AHI was under 2.
Any comments or suggestions? Adjusting pressure will help?

Cheers;

RE: Snore
Did you have any events while on your back? If not, you're good where you are. Raising the pressure won't keep you from sleeping on your back.

You could take an old tshirt and sew a small pocket on the back. Then put a tennis ball inside. Or duct tape it on. Probably up between your shoulder blades. This will keep you from rolling onto your back.

Take a deep breath and count to zen.

I have some events
I thank and welcome every comment. Duct tape tennis ball on the back
I am very sure that won't have snore and events all night because I might don't get a sleep at all.

cheers;

Hi bphrom,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
You could try a chinstrap and see if that will help you.
Best of luck with your CPAP therapy.

RE: Snore
how do you know about the snoring
bed partner or thru Resscan

snoring indicate pressure adjustment but first try the tennis ball trick, would help prevent rolling on your side

are you using EPR or Ramp
at your pressure (6) you would not need them

if EPR set at 2 or 3, breathe out pressure drop to 4
my guess during exhale pressure drop, become vulnerable and some snoring might occur

Knowing the snore thru ResScan.
I use full EPR. Should I switch EPR back to Ramp only?

Thanks;

Thanks

RE: Snore
the Autoset increase pressure in response to snore and flow limitation and apnea (not central)
on the Elite, the pressure stay constant at set pressure

whats the flow limitation look like?
mountain shape (bottom one) is good
flat one (top one) not so good

as Trish suggested, chinstrap might help to minimize mouth leak
air escaping thru the mouth can reduce the pressure delivered to keep the airways open

RE: Snore
its 2 pm ... too early for bed
time for coffee Coffee

I had similar FL and my doctor suggested to increase the pressure and did the trick
any pressure increase have to be done in small increment over period of time and back off if central events showed up
