You should always try for the best and only accept the results when you have done all they can, IMHO.

sleep studies are a small slice out of all that.

Yeah, that's one thing I've definitely learned from all of this - how inconsistent the sleep is. I expected my sleep patterns to be a lot more consistent than they are, and yet they vary from night to night.

What is amazing to me is how often the charts tell me a completely different picture than I had expected them to - For instance, there are some nights that I feel like all I did was rearrange the mask all night hoping that I can finally find the magic combination of tightness and position to prevent leaks - and yet the next morning there are only a couple of minor leak events. And then the next night is exactly the opposite.
