Gross Spider In My Inhaler
Spider In My Inhaler

I use symbicort and combivent inhalers for my lung conditions. this post is about a spider. one morning i grabbed my symbicort, pulled the cap off, sprayed and inhaled. HELLO, WAKE UP. something hit the back of my throat or mouth and i started to cough. i coughed a little spider out into the sink. he did bite me on the tongue on the way out. it was tiny but it was a spider, actually it was about the size of my little avatar. don't ask me how he crawled in the crack between the medication container and the sprayer but he did because i always keep the caps on my sprayers. along with hitting the back of my throat the spray felt funny, like not a spray. the way i figure it he was sitting right on the spot where the medication comes out of the container and rode the front of the stream to the back of my throat. i know it sounds weird and may never happen again to anyone. the next time i went to see my doctor i told him about it. it just so happened that the astra zeneca drug rep was in da house giving the doc's freebies and i got a chance to repeat it all to her for whatever good it did when he called her in the exam room.

the point of this is it did happen to me and i now keep my sprayers in a zip lock bag. if this rings your bell and you don't like little critters you may consider doing likewise. then again, it may not happen to you, but like i always say, never say never.

I thought Bill's spider story was strange... but this one is bizarre, zonk...

What's a frog doing in your humidifier water?

I know... "he's doing the back-stroke". Too-funny

My bro got him a little case for his inhaler. He carried it in his pocket everywhere. Then one day, he really really needs to use it and does. Get's a mouthful of lint.

That had never occured to me of happening before. Thanks! (I think) Huh

Snapple used to have fun facts on the inside of the lid. They're hard to find here now so I don't know if they still do.

Anyway, one said "While asleep, the average person will swallow 8 spiders over the course of their lifetime."

Made me consider getting a full face mask!

Have you considered the possibility that he may have been planted there? Who might want to get rid of you? Laugh-a-lot
