Steep study w/ titration last night

Steep study w/ titration last night
I had a sleep study with titration last night and feel as if I have never slept this well in a very long time!

The last couple dozen months have not treated me well with respect to sleep.  Starting the day would find me waking up exhausted with very low energy throughout the day.

It took about 6 months to get this scheduled after completing a battery of test last year:  EKG, stress test, blood work, MRI’s, etc...
My regular GP wanted to make sure of no other underling factors.  She is pleased with my CPAP data but with all due respect, she is a GP, not a sleep specialist.  This is my 3rd sleep study but the first with titration.

The setting was not a multi-function hospital room but rather a facility intended only for sleep studies.  It was akin to a very nice hotel room.  Dark atmosphere and very comfortable bed and easily fell into slumber like I normally do from end- of- day exhaustion.

I had one startling nightmare that woke me.  It took about half and hour to return to sleep after the requisite trip to the bathroom.  I dream regularly and on occasion have rather intense ones, often ending with horrific results had I not awaken.  I feel as if I could describe last night's journey in great detail.

I need to schedule the follow-up consultation to see what the interpretation of the results reveal.
Moreover, I wonder if they will recommend a change in setting to my machine.

I will keep you posted as I learn more.
