Anyone heard from Phillips re the toxic foam issue?
Hi, just wondered if anyone has heard from Phillips after registering their machine as being part of the recall (I have 2 almost new dream stations)? I had no choice but to buy a new Resmed Airsense 10 a few weeks ago, as I figured this would take some time... on a bright note, after being diagnosed 2 years ago with severe sleep apnea (over 60 AIH), with my Phillips dream machine it got down to 2-3 AHI... with the Resmed its now down to 0.2 - 0.5 consistently each night. I realise anything under 5 is considered 'normal' so my dream station was doing its job, but I was surprised that the Resmed got it down to well under 1 each night. Both machines has identical start pressures (10) and on auto mode, and both seemed to average about 12-13 of pressure during the night. I was told Resmed has a more aggressive algorithm, is this the reason?
