Try setting the EPR to 2 or even 1. I know it seems counterintuitive but give it a go. Also, sit with the mask and machine on during the day to get used to it. It most likely just feels like you are not exhaling enough but you are. We all go through this as we aren't used to pushing against air to breathe out.
