Successfully installed InfoSmart on Windows 10
Hey all.

I am pretty sure there is no help out there with installing Infosmart 1.3.1 on Windows 10.  Took me a day to figure it out and another half day looking around the net to see if someone had done it.  If there is someone needing a walk-through made please do reply here and when I get a few minutes I will do my best to make a good one.  Thank god I am an avid VMWare user cause without it I doubt I would have figured it out!  Confirmed it does run and read from my ICON Auto InfoUSB card.

If you do a write up of the instructions, it could be added to the files on the relevant machines.

I would also really appreciate some help with getting reports off my F&P ICON. I bought a used ICON with no Infosmart and no InfoUSB. I have modified a standard USB flash drive so it plugs in to the ICON but I guess the ICON needs a Linux EXT3 partition? Please help.

You can download a Linux system that is booted from a USB. This system will run completely from a PC that has 4 Gigs or more of memory, otherwise you will have to keep it in your PC, so it can load and unload apps. The name of this system is, Parted Magic, and has a free version. Here is their website: https://partedmagic.com/

The app you want is named GPartd and will have a shortcut icon on the desktop.

Good luck!
