Supplier # 9 back up battery
#1
Supplier #9 is selling a back up battery for $199.00 plus $10.00 off with code # C100. Do a search for battery in their site.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks, Brad

There have been many threads on battery backup. The most important question comes down to: How do you intend to use it?
By that, I mean: Home backup, travel, backpacking, overnight camping? For home, the sealed lead acid is often favored.
This battery is Lithium Ion chemistry. Li-Ion is light and has a high power density.

The PSR1 is nice in that it can run on 12 VDC. I don't know, off hand, its current versus pressure curve.
Their claim of several nights -- I suspect is inflated.

I can tell you why the battery is rated just under 100 Watt-Hrs -- because under 100 Watt-Hrs is permitted to be carried onto a commercial airline.
