Suspect New AirSense 10 Machine making wife sick

RE: Suspect New AirSense 10 Machine making wife sick
If you go back to the old machine, you may get screwed on the insurance for "non-compliance."

Try turning the humidifier off and seeing if that makes a difference.

Clean the heck out of everything washable. with really hot water.

I think it's really unlikely for plastic fumes to be a real problem. There is a lot of air blowing through the machine to dilute any fumes. In order to contaminate the air, some sort of substance has to be evaporating from the plastic, and it should get used up pretty soon.

You might turn the machine on and let it run without being masked up for half a minute or so before you maskup.

If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.

This board is so good for that. Stick around a while if you can.

Is the air intake near anything perfumed or a volatile like an air freshener or pot pourri? P.S.don't forget 16 db for safety margin in a HERO environment. Wink

For the A10, you can access the "clinic controls" by pressing the dial and home button at same time for 5 seconds. Then check the settings the DME set up. Even those menus are simplistic.
