....That is a LOT of information! I will spend the near future trying to check it out, including my next VA appointment!!! Thanks, all!

Hi Chuckster,

Be persistent when you go to the VA armed with info. If the person you talk to does not seem to know as much as you do, ask for the name of the respiratory therapist that does the cpap education class (am assuming you have those there) and give them a call for help.

My experience is that there are a handful of RTs at the VA that really know the cpap equipment. Hope you get one of those.

Good luck

OH yeah...I've been dealing with these jokers for 22 years now; they're #1 on my speed-dial! In fact, the Director's Office knows my wife by number and voice...they don't like 'talking' with her!

I get new masks, but they buy in such bulk that they won't special order anything, unless an M.D. in the modules specifies that they'd need a certain thing for a certain reason. (I found all this out yesterday as I went upstairs to talk to one of the techs I know there...)

Love your username btw...it's what a lot of folks say about the heat here in Okla...even when the humidity is 49pct and higher!

Thanks!!!

Oh, your heat isn't dry. Have family in the midwest, your weather has been worse then ours here in Phoenix. I have to wring out my clothes when I come back home!

Glad that you and your wife are on first name basis with the director Smile

I know it makes a difference in your care.

I can't find it right now,but somewhere on this site there is a page that lists the pressure ratings on mnay of the masks. Will direct you there when i find it again.

Found it! Compliments of mjbearit...Sorry, couldnt copy link, user error

This comes up a lot here so I went through all the User Manuals that ResMed has online (except the Hospital Masks) And copied down the rating that they have listed for Therapy pressure for those specific masks. I'm honestly not sure where to post this or even what format this should be in so if this takes a couple of attempts, please bear with me.
Okay, I could not get it to keep decent formatting so it kinda looks like well....you know.....but I guess the info is there anyway!
